Speak Your Truth

So yesterday I sent out an email to my email list babes & someone got really pissed

I’m using the throat chakra image because I’m obvi having a throat chakra upgrade haha

But also I thought this quote (bottom of blog post) was amazing & hilarious, too

So I reached back out & shared that my intention wasn't to offend, I just may have a different sense of humor than some

I can see from another perspective how the email may have been offensive if you don't share the same sense of humor, so I apologized if that was the case

Here's what I want to share with you:

I am just like you, human, and imperfect

And I am also working on embodying more of my true authentic self as I show up online, & a big part of me is goofy & silly

To me, that was the tone of how I wrote the email, & from a place of service

It has taken me years to come in to this place of speaking my authentic truth, & sharing all parts of myself and owning that

I got a lot of judgment & persecution for it 4 years back when I came out of my spiritual closet

The more we all step in to that authenticity & fully own ourselves, it's normal for people to get upset or triggered

This used to absolutely break my heart when people didn't accept me (again because of childhood/rejection stuff)

But honestly you just have to get to a point where you don't give a fuck if people like you or not

I know I am a lot of energy & not for everyone, but if I dim my light to please everyone, the people who really need me won't be able to find me

And the same for you!

To be honest, it's always been really hard for me to speak my truth because of stuff I went through as a child

So anytime someone gets upset with what I have to say, it triggers that old wound all over again

But that's why I do what I do, because I'm healing, I'm human, and I'm on this journey right alongside you

Know that you're not on this journey alone, & I am always here for you
